Pastor Rod’s Welcome

Christ Community Church is all about Christ and community. Jesus is our answer for life’s problems. We seek to form a community of faith that reaches out to others with the Good News from God’s Word, the Bible.

Vision drives us forward. Consider our commitments as a Body and then consider committing yourself with us toward accomplishing the task.

The vision of Christ Community Church is . . .

  1. To reach the un-churched,
de-churched, and fed-up-with church with the joy of a personal relationship
    with Jesus Christ.

    • The un-churched are those who do not know Christ
and have not attended a church.
    • The de-churched
are those who are no longer a part of the fellowship of a church (either as a believer or non-believer).
    • The fed-up-with church are those who are tired of playing games and want to be serious about
their faith and their service to God.
    • The joy of a right relationship with Jesus will bring
new life, revived life and extended life to those
who are personally related to Him.
  2. To create captivating worship that draws people to Jesus and challenges them to mature in Him.
    • Captivating worship will draw the listener
into the very presence of God.
    • Creativity in communication will reach all the senses to convey the message of the Gospel.
    • Challenging teaching will proclaim
God’s truth as it applies to daily life.
  3. To model the message of Christ through caring community.
    • The gospel will be lived out in community, ministering to the needs of the culture.
    • Small groups will build the body, uniting them together in a bond of strength.
    • People of all walks of life will be welcome.
    • The church will be a place for healing and hope and not degradation and despair.
  4. To give as it has been given to us.
    • Giving will be modeled by the church.
    • Set percentages of offerings received will be devoted
towards outreach and outreach ministries so that the church and its leaders
      can be leaders by example.
  5. To generate a church multiplication movement through the birthing of new churches.
    • Church planting (birthing) will be a part of the DNA of the original church.
    • The goal is to plant another church by 2010. God has called us to be busy “making disciples.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
  6. To energize and equip a generation in service of the Savior one person at a time.
    • New believers and old will be discipled in their
      relationship with Christ.
    • Small groups will be fostered.
    • One-on-one ministries will change
      lives for Jesus.
    • Training events will be hosted to promote maturity
      in the faith.
  7. To train dynamic leaders for the 21st century.
    • Training sessions will
be given to train future leaders.
    • Being able to train leaders
will keep the church on the cutting edge of ministry.
    • Internships
at the church and through the church into the community will be encouraged.
  8. To involve all members in service for the Savior.
    • To strive for people to dedicate one hour a week to God’s work above their regular service time on Sunday. This alone would create an army of
      workers.
    • To connect gifts, burdens (passions) and talents of
believers with needs within and without the church.
  9. To leave a lasting legacy of faith.
    • Not just one generation but multiple
generations will be impacted for the gospel.
    • The legacy is not in buildings but in the rebuilding of lives for Jesus.

Join with us as we seek to walk in faith, bringing honor and glory to God.
